The Rose Capital of America is not only “A Natural Beauty”, but is also home to nationally recognized restaurants and attractions.  Located between Dallas and Shreveport, Tyler has the charm of small-town and the amenities of big-city. Tyler invites you to relax and enjoy!

Thousands of visitors stroll through this genteel town in the spring during the Azalea and Spring Flower Trail to view the azaleas, dogwood, and other blooming beauties. During this time, Tyler explodes with color and activity.   With community events like the Main Street Flower Market, Azalea Arts and Crafts Fair, Beauty and the Beast Bicycle Tour, Historic Homes Tours, and so much more, there is something for everyone.

The spring flowers are beautiful, one of the most impressive aspects of Tyler is its unique rose heritage. Tyler’s Municipal Rose Garden is a 14-acre floral extravaganza every year, showing off 32,000 rose bushes in over 500 varieties. Roses bloom between May and November, and in October, Tyler celebrates Rose Season featuring Texas Rose Festival. You can enjoy Tyler all month long in October as the entire town celebrates.
Of course with unique shopping, nationally recognized attractions, delicious dining and an abundance of outdoor recreation, anytime is the right time to visit Tyler.  You can download a Visitor’s Guide or seasonal brochure of events at www.visittyler.com.  For daily updates be sure to join us on Facebook at VisitTyler or tweet us @TylerTexasInfo.  You can also check out some great Tyler photos on Flickr.
